I had no idea how intense re-writes would be! Hours and hours I've spent creating a flow that (hopefully) keeps the reader wondering what will happen next and there is still so much to re-write and edit.
The first few chapters I've endeavored to create mystery and intrigue that captures the imagination. In Chapter Five the plot of the story begins to unveil and sets the stage for prophetic timelines. And, the struggle for Gabriella's soul begins as she is drawn deeply into the world of the paranormal experiencing alternate dimensions of time and space. She is constantly battling against an "angel of light" that is drawing her into a great deception.
We see this all around us as our young people are surrounded by the darkness of sin that is becoming the norm for our society. It's in music, movies, video games, almost every program on TV and it saturating and taking over the minds of our society. There seems to be no conviction of wrong and morals are a thing of the past.
I appreciate the prayers of you, my friends, as I continue the effort to expose the warfare that captivates the minds of those that give place to paranormal activity in their lives.
The Omega Watchers received the Radiqx Award for "Redemption Fiction" and The Third Strand for "Spirit Filled Fiction" as Christian novels based on sound Biblical doctrine. The plots are entwined around ancient prophecies for the end of days. The story begins with finding a mysterious Dead Sea Scroll that foretells of the return of the fallen angels held in captivity since the days of Noah, and the final battles of good and evil unfolding in the end days.

Today I have finished the story line for the book!!! I will begin editing and re-writing which will be both time and labor intensive and then on to publishing options. This will be as challenging as the book writing itself for a new author.
My heart's desire has been to include biblical truths in a story of fictional characters. There are so many deceptions in the form of paranormal beliefs that are sucking both young and old into their satanic holds as people are looking for a power greater than themselves. Any power not of the Holy Spirit leads to destruction of the mind, soul and body.
If this book changes one life it will be worth every minute of every hour that has been invested. I appreciate prayers from my followers for guidance as I am at the beginning of the end of my book...just as we are in the world.

The end is in sight!
Writing a novel based on spiritual truths is a long journey of research, time writing, rewriting and still rewriting again. I had no idea how intense it would be to make sure the story line flows correctly and time lines all line up. So many little details!
Late October was the last I worked on the book until this week. Life happens and you adjust accordingly. But I'm ready to dig in and finish.
When I start writing a new chapter I have no idea where it will go and often amazed at the turns and twists it takes. At this point I still don't know exactly how it will end but the end is in sight.
I am including with this blog an excerpt from Chapter One:

Pouring into Gabriella’s mind was the local legend passed
from generation to generation that there was a cave in this desert region called the
“place of the fallen stars”. The Bedouins called it the
chambers of the abyss where the angels that fell from heaven were held in
captivity until their release at the end of days…a place known in the study of
mythical gods as Tartarus.
“Am I standing where
no man should tread? Could this be the
place that mythical legends blend into reality?” An unseen force was pulling her deeper and
deeper in to the darkness.
The entire team seemed to feel a sinister force encircling
them. Caleb broke the mysterious hold
when he demanded, “Let’s get the pictures and samples we need and get out of
here.” The work was completed and the
team started back out of the inner recesses of the cave’s lava tubes. They all sensed the mystery and trepidation
of their find. They knew this was a day
that would change their lives forever.
As they exited the cave Gabriella could not shake the eerie
feeling that someone or some “thing”….was watching.
