I had no idea how intense re-writes would be! Hours and hours I've spent creating a flow that (hopefully) keeps the reader wondering what will happen next and there is still so much to re-write and edit.
The first few chapters I've endeavored to create mystery and intrigue that captures the imagination. In Chapter Five the plot of the story begins to unveil and sets the stage for prophetic timelines. And, the struggle for Gabriella's soul begins as she is drawn deeply into the world of the paranormal experiencing alternate dimensions of time and space. She is constantly battling against an "angel of light" that is drawing her into a great deception.
We see this all around us as our young people are surrounded by the darkness of sin that is becoming the norm for our society. It's in music, movies, video games, almost every program on TV and it saturating and taking over the minds of our society. There seems to be no conviction of wrong and morals are a thing of the past.
I appreciate the prayers of you, my friends, as I continue the effort to expose the warfare that captivates the minds of those that give place to paranormal activity in their lives.
The Omega Watchers received the Radiqx Award for "Redemption Fiction" and The Third Strand for "Spirit Filled Fiction" as Christian novels based on sound Biblical doctrine. The plots are entwined around ancient prophecies for the end of days. The story begins with finding a mysterious Dead Sea Scroll that foretells of the return of the fallen angels held in captivity since the days of Noah, and the final battles of good and evil unfolding in the end days.

Today I have finished the story line for the book!!! I will begin editing and re-writing which will be both time and labor intensive and then on to publishing options. This will be as challenging as the book writing itself for a new author.
My heart's desire has been to include biblical truths in a story of fictional characters. There are so many deceptions in the form of paranormal beliefs that are sucking both young and old into their satanic holds as people are looking for a power greater than themselves. Any power not of the Holy Spirit leads to destruction of the mind, soul and body.
If this book changes one life it will be worth every minute of every hour that has been invested. I appreciate prayers from my followers for guidance as I am at the beginning of the end of my book...just as we are in the world.

The end is in sight!
Writing a novel based on spiritual truths is a long journey of research, time writing, rewriting and still rewriting again. I had no idea how intense it would be to make sure the story line flows correctly and time lines all line up. So many little details!
Late October was the last I worked on the book until this week. Life happens and you adjust accordingly. But I'm ready to dig in and finish.
When I start writing a new chapter I have no idea where it will go and often amazed at the turns and twists it takes. At this point I still don't know exactly how it will end but the end is in sight.
I am including with this blog an excerpt from Chapter One:

Pouring into Gabriella’s mind was the local legend passed
from generation to generation that there was a cave in this desert region called the
“place of the fallen stars”. The Bedouins called it the
chambers of the abyss where the angels that fell from heaven were held in
captivity until their release at the end of days…a place known in the study of
mythical gods as Tartarus.
“Am I standing where
no man should tread? Could this be the
place that mythical legends blend into reality?” An unseen force was pulling her deeper and
deeper in to the darkness.
The entire team seemed to feel a sinister force encircling
them. Caleb broke the mysterious hold
when he demanded, “Let’s get the pictures and samples we need and get out of
here.” The work was completed and the
team started back out of the inner recesses of the cave’s lava tubes. They all sensed the mystery and trepidation
of their find. They knew this was a day
that would change their lives forever.
As they exited the cave Gabriella could not shake the eerie
feeling that someone or some “thing”….was watching.

Since my last post I have made major headway into the novel. I am about to begin Chapter 24 and after laying the groundwork for the plot in the beginning chapters it is all coming together now in a battle waging for the soul of Gabriella.
As I have studied deeper into the paranormal it is amazing the counterfeit it has to the true spiritual life. Everything our Heavenly Father offers us in a pure, loving way the enemy offers in his counterfeit "religion" which ends up in a vile, destructive captivity of the mind and soul. It's beautiful in the beginning but destruction in the end...the exact example given to us in the Garden of Eden when Eve fell for the lies. "Surely you will not die."
The Omega Watchers takes the reader through many of the deceptions that are active in the world today and (I believe) setting the stage for the great deception the bible tells us of in the end of days. (11 Thess. 2)
It also will reveal a possible huge deception for the end times that most Christians have never considered, but is beginning even now to make its way onto the world scene.
I Corn. 13:12 tells us "For now we see through a glass darkly". There are so many things we have glimpses of but don't understand. The prophet Daniel wrote that knowledge would be increased in the end of days and I truly believe that is both intellectual and spiritual understanding. And those that study and follow bible prophecy are receiving a major understanding of the signs of the coming of our Lord!
Now back to Gabriella's war. She is in great danger!

The Omega Watchers
The battle begins!
I have finished the revisions for the first chapters of the book and now entering into the part of the book that the spiritual battles really begin. Gabriella has been sucked into a world of deception thinking she is finding spiritual truths. This is exactly the plan of the enemy. He counterfeits everything that is spiritually true to confuse and seduce those that are "open" to looking in the wrong places for understanding, especially the world of the paranormal.
Just curious how many have heard of Edgar Cayce from Kentucky? He is one of the father's of the new age paranormal beliefs. Or have you heard of the Arcturians? My book will reveal many of the paranormal deceptions that are herald as being absolute truth and followers from all over the world joining these new age groups. The bible warns us of the great deception that will come at the end of the age and will introduce the Anti-Christ.
According to the bible there is war in the heavenly places. The Books of Daniel, Ephesians and Revelation describes it well. The most important of all spiritual battles is determining what we believe based on the Word of God.
I appreciate the prayers of my friends as I write the next chapters revealing the true and the counterfeit. This is the search of so many people today, especially the young. They want to know there is something more than this life on earth (that is just a vapor) and the enemy will lead them into his spiritual truth if the Church (the believers of the Holy God) does not point them to the real truth!

"The Omega Watchers" - Still making revisions
After a few days break from writing to study and prepare to teach a prophecy class, I am now full swing back into getting the first part of the book pretty much finished so I could move into the "thick" of the plot.
I wonder if other writers have the same feelings of uncertainty as they put their thoughts, emotions and creative writing into story form? I constantly ask myself if I am portraying the characters and scenes in words that will paint a picture of the people and places the story surrounds so the reader will both "feel" and "see" what is happening.
I am at the point in the book that spiritual beliefs become the center of everything that is happening. Some of the characters stand firmly on their beliefs and others are trying to find their truth. Is this not what we experience everywhere we go? In our families, our jobs, community (and yes) even in the church we find people that really don't know what they believe, but then there are those that stand strong in their faith no matter what. Sadly, there are many somewhere in the middle.
The true believers are the people that can be a shining light to everyone around them, when the allow the love of God to flow through them to others, allowing the Spirit in them to draw "all men unto Christ".
Gabriella (the main character in the book) is searching to find spiritual understanding and the reality of God. She has just entered into a spiritual deception that would lead her down the road of destruction in her quest for truth. There is always a counterfeit to the real. And the "counterfeiter" is looking for every opportunity to make an appearance. This is so true in the world today...maybe even more so as we see so many biblical prophecies fulfilled identifying the time in which we live.
Do you know what you believe? Can you share it with others in a way that will draw them to THE Truth? This is the most important mission we have in life!

"The Omega Watchers" - Revision time
I have always loved to write but having never attempted a novel, this has been a real journey and I am just getting started. There is much of the story that comes to me as I write that I never thought about and then other things that I knew in advance would be part of the plot, but I didn't know how or when it would be included. It's almost like raising a child. You have lots of good plans, but you have to take it a day at a time and often those plans change.
Chapter 11 will be exciting to write as I am really getting into the paranormal experiences that Gabriella is having. I am writing this chapter from my heart as I am seeing so many people, both young and older, being sucked into the beliefs of ghosts, UFOs, seances and so much more. My desire is to tell the story in a way to uncover the deceptions and reveal the Truth! As the Book of Revelation says "Let those that have ears hear"! Sadly, many will not. But if any lives are changed or touched, it will be well worth the journey.
I can see by my stats on the blog that many people are viewing my blog, but no one is leaving a post. Please let me know you have taken a few minutes to visit me!
